What is Knock Out in Call of Duty¶
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is a new addition to the franchise which was released on October 28th, 2022. It’s a continuation from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare which was developed by Infinity Ward and published on the 25th of October 2019. It comes packed with a variety of content, such as the graphically stunning Campaign, Spec Ops, and Multiplayer which offers a lot of new maps and game modes.
Knock Out is one of the 13 Game Modes you can select from in MW2 at launch and it’s one of the shiny new modes added into the game. However, due to it being new some players may not know how to play the objective correctly, but don’t worry we’re here to help! This game mode is a 6v6 round-based mode like Search & Destroy and it requires two teams to fight over and hold a bag of money which spawns in the center of the map at the beginning of the round. Additionally, if you die during a round, then you cannot respawn until the next unless a teammate revives you.
Best Way To Win a Match of Knock Out in CoD MW2¶
In order to win a game of Knock Out one team will need to either kill all enemies on the opposite team or hold the bag of cash for 75 seconds for 6 rounds. If the bag carrier dies, then the timer will pause until its been collected again. However, whoever is carrying the bag will have their location marked on the map for everyone to see including the enemy, so you’ll definitely want to avoid running solo and stick close to your teammates.
As a round of Knock Out begins you’ll want to avoid having everyone rush the objective as this will make it easy for the enemy to simply throw a grenade and take the majority of you out it one go, so instead have one or two go to the objectives and have the remaining teammates roam around the outside to take out any enemies trying to get your flank.
Make sure you have two players stick together, so if one goes down the other can get the refrag and revive. Once someone has acquired the bag, find somewhere that’s not out in the open, so any building will do, then make use of stuff like Deployable Shields or Trophy Systems. As this will prevent enemies throwing grenades into the building and it will also stop them from being able to just run in and prefire you.
