The best TAQ-56 Loadout in MW2

Here are some of the best attachment options available for the TAQ-56 Loadout in MW2.

The best TAQ-56 Loadout in MW2 requires the player to get attachments to make this bullet heavy, control and accuracy freak rolling. While we don’t have access to the multiplayer (at the time of writing), we do get to mess around with variations of the gun in the campaign. As it stands, it feels like the best attachments for the TAQ-56 in MW2 will require the following:

  • Barrel: 14.5“ Tundra Pro Barrel
  • Muzzle: Komodo Heavy
  • Underbarrel: Sharkfin or FTAC Ripper
  • Rear Grip: Demo Cleanshot Grip
  • Optic of choice

Or first thoughts about the Scar was that its accuracy was terrible, but simply putting on the Echoline GS-X and Sharkfin makes ADS accuracy stability and recoil smoothness very easy to control in the early leveling experience. When you get your hands on some heavy duty horizontal recoil control, like the Komodo Heavy, then this weapon’s accuracy disappears. You can also change to the** FTAC Ripper** when you get it for the added recoil control, while still getting better aiming stability.

The 14.5“ Barrel is another good shout for granting that extra recoil control and damage range, but you lose out on the ADS and movement speed.

The downside so far is that this weapon lacks its ADS Speed, so you need to adjust it slightly. This is where the Demo Cleanshot Rear Grip comes in, as it has one of the biggest ADS improvements of any attachment.

If you can manage without a sight on the TAQ 56 loadout, then you then opt for either the TV Xline Pro stock for better handling and movement, including ADS. Or, you can go to lazers, and select and ADS improving lazer. The lazer can also help you aim too, since you’re losing the optic.

These attachments create the more balanced version of the gun, keeping it a mid range powerhouse, along with allowing it to content in the ADS meta. It also offers some flexibility on your playstyle too Its for these reasons that these attachments create the best TAQ-56 loadout in MW2.

The best TAQ-56 Class setup in MW2

Here is a look at the best TAQ-56 Loadout in MW2, along with the best TAQ-56 class setup and attachments.

Now you’re onto the best AQ-56 class setup in MW2. The ideal setup will help you get those needed frags.

  • Secondary: Preference
  • Tactical: Flash
  • Lethal: Semtex or a form of mine
  • Field Upgrade: Dead Silence or Recon Drone

The best TAQ-56 Class Setup in MW2 has some degree of flexibility. It largely depends on the map and playstyle. The main benefits of the TAQ 56 is that it is one of the strongest AR weapons for raw damage, and suits a mid to long range playstyle. So, things that suit that help out.

Your tactical can be either Med Syringe or Flash Grenades. Med Syringe helps to top you up, especially if you are holding long angles and are dealing with BR, Marksman or sniper rifle wounds. It also helps if you get chipped away by AR or SMGS, who could not speed up the ADS in time against you in the mid-range. Meanwhile, flashbangs are generally useful for clearing angles or objectives you need to assault.

Your lethal choice depends if your holding those angles or pushing. Semtex is a great pick for pushing objectives and clearing the, or angles. Meanwhile, the proximity mine or claymore are great choices to support a flank if you’re holding a long angle, benefiting from the TAQ-56’s solid damage and range advantage.

The go-to field Upgrade is Dead Silence. Dead Silence helps to get around easier, and is generally one of the most beneficial field upgrades available regardless of setting. Recon Drone is also good to so you can scan for enemies, keep it over a location and have your range superiority rifle pre-aiming an area for easy kills, or for objective clearing if you’re that much of a team player.

Best TAQ-56 Perks in MW2

The best TAQ-56 Perks in MW2 are:

  • Basic Perk 1: Scavenger
  • Basic Perk 2: Bomb Squad or Battle Hardened
  • Bonus of choice
  • Ultimate: Quick Fix.

The ideal basic perk for the TAQ-56 is Scavenger. Scavenger is a great tool to retrieve ammo from fallen hostiles when you know the coast is clear. After that, getting your hands on either Bomb Squad or Battle Hardened is good, considering how strong lethals and tactical grenades are in MW2.

The bonus perk is preferential. Cold Blooded is decent if you hate getting spotted by the recon drones, thermal scopes and other electronics. Hardline is good to snowball those score streaks, and Resupply is also nice for getting better resupply speeds so you can frag objectives or camper spots more often. Focus is the option pros like, since it helps players with aim flinching.

Meanwhile, the ultimate perk of choice is Quick Fix. Quick Fix’s health regen is incredibly nice for players looking to get steadily improve their health regen after kills or objective holding. The TAQ is good at grabbing kills with its powerful rounds or makes a great choice for holding sites with long angles. Therefore, Quick Fix is an easy fit into the best TAQ-56 Loadout in MW2.

This concludes the best TAQ-56 loadout in MW2. Good luck getting those heavy-hitting rounds onto enemies, and controlling that wild aim.
