Best Fennec Loadout in MW2¶
The important thing to note about the Fennec is its strengths and weaknesses. It has by far one of the fastest TTK in MW2, largely thanks to its high headshot damage, and the Bugatti fast rate of fire. The downside is that it has low damage profile at range if you don’t land headshots, and its magazine capacity is terrible for its rate of fire. You will need attachments that offer a great sight to use, increase damage through a barrel or muzzle, an increased magazine capacity, a favourable optic for getting those distant headshots, and then two other attachments to offset the losses those attachments bring.
It’s for these reasons why we think these are the go-to attachments to create the best Fennec 45 loadout in MW2:
- Barrel: ZLR 16.6 Ignition Barrel
- Stock: FTAC Locktight Stock
- Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
- Optic: Of choice
- Magazine: Fennec Mag 45
The ignition barrrel and the Fennec Covert barrel are very similar with very slight tweaks. Its all about improve velocity, damage range and more, at the cost of some movement and handling. hHowever, you do get some of that handling back thanks to the VLK LZR 7MW’s DS improvements.
To offset the, you want the FTAC Locktight Stock, which will significantly alter the the handling, crouch speed and ADS speed. However, this doens’t unlock till Fennec lvl 22, so you may need to mess around with rear grips and muzzle untiil you get there.
We alos recmmoend taking the Fennec Mag 45. This is a needed attachement sinze the RoF is very fast. It means you can better contend with multi kills in close ranges, and have the neeeded extra bullets for longer range fights.
Lastly, we recommend an optic. Go with one for preference. The red dot mini versions are good shouts, but holographic works fine too for better accuracy.
Best Fennec Class Setup in MW2¶
The Fennec Class loadout you want will reinforce that run-and-gun SMG playstyle. Here is the best Fennec class loadout in MW2.
- Secondary: P890
- Tactical: Flash Grenades or Medical Syringe
- Lethal: Semtex
- Field Upgrade: Dead Silence
The secondary that players should run is the** P890**. The P890 add plenty of ammunition mods that allow players to add subsonic rounds to their sidearm. This pairs well with the Fennec, since the Fennec uses subsonic rounds by default. It means both of your weapons will hide death skulls. That’s one less detection tool players can use in public lobbies to work out where an enemy is. It’s also a semi-auto pistol, which can help when you need to pop someone at a distance already tagged.
The tactical and lethal one you should use is the Flash and Semtex combo. These throwables add to the objective, room or camper flushing you need. Semtex will detonate early and get quick frags when thrown well, while the flashbang ensures little resistance to your push. Alternatively,** Medical Syringe** is viable, since you are not running Quick Fix in this build as a decent source of health recovery when needed.
Lastly, Dead Silence is a key Field Upgrade. The Fennec is a fast-moving weapon, and your subsonic build allows you to get great stealth advantages over other SMGs. Therefore, taking Dead Silence to aid that flanking potential and ghost gameplay is a great addition to the build.
Best Fennec Perks in MW2¶
Now it’s time for the best Fennec Perks in MW2. Here is an idea of what you should be running with your loadout
- Basic Perk 1: Scavenger.
- Basic Perk 2: Double Time or Battle Hardened.
- Bonus Perk: Preference.
- Ultimate Perk: Ghost or Quick Fix.
The basic perk you need at all times is Scavenger. As stated, the Fennec goes through ammo incredibly fast. Scavenger is a needed perk to keep it going. Meanwhile, you have some options for your second basic perk. Double Time is required on bigger maps, such as the museum level. On shorter maps or maps with more rooms, you can probably go Battle Hardened. Battle Hardened reduces the effects of tactical effects, such as flashes. It offers more room to breathe on those CQB levels so you can get back in action, and potentially survive a flashbang push. This is a much more ideal option for gamemodes like Domination, Hardpoint, and Headquarters.
As for your Bonus Perk, it’s preferential since Quick Fix is now an ultimate perk. Resupply is good for recharging your equipment and having an extra Semtex. Hardline is also good to get counter UAVs earlier (if you take counter UAV in your killstreak), helping to cover your tracks until you get Ghost. There’s Cold-blooded too, which can hide you from thermal scopes and other electronics, but, those are very rare.
The ultimate perk you want is Ghost. Ghost is an important perk to get online as it will hide your tracks from UAVs and other devices. This will round out your stealthiness, combining your no-skull markers, dead silence, and off-the-radar into one stealthy package. If you don’t take Syringes, then Quick Fix can be a great option too.
This concludes our best Fennec Loadout in MW2. If you’re a fan of Ghost, this is the build for you.
