This is a walkthrough for Sendoff Spring, including what Pokémon you can encounter.
Sendoff Spring is the hidden fourth lake of Sinnoh, only accessible during the postgame. It’s located along the east side of Route 214, at the far end of Spring Path. At the back of Sendoff Spring is the mysterious Turnback Cave.
How to Reach Sendoff Spring¶
To reach Sendoff Spring, you must first locate the Spring Path. Make your way towards the lower half of Route 214, either by heading south from Veilstone City or west from Sunyshore City, then north when you arrive at Valor Lakefront. As you’re traveling, keep your eyes on the trees at the east perimeter of the route.
Between Psychic Mitchell towards the north and Collector Douglas towards the south, there’s a noticeable gap in the trees. This is the beginning of the Spring Path. (In case you were wondering, no, this path wasn’t always there.) The path itself is very simple: follow it east. At the end, there’s an entrance within the trees, which leads to the spring.
How to Navigate Sendoff Spring¶
As you enter, go up and head east through the tall grass. When you reach the small bunch of trees near the end, use Rock Climb between the two trees along the upper wall. You’ll arrive at the south side of a large hollow. Go clock-wise or anti-clockwise around, towards the opposite (north) side. Next, Rock Climb down to the innards of the hollow.
Below, there’s a cave entrance, which leads to Turnback Cave. Also, there’s a large body of water that you can Surf around or fish in. This info might be useful for the coming fight, so keep that in mind.
