The Platinum Clothing is a limited time clothing set that can be found in the game before February 21st, 2022.
If you’re looking to add Platinum Clothing to your collection, act fast. Here’s how you do it.
How to Get Platinum Clothing¶
To get this clothing set, you’ll have to unlock Mystery Gifts in the game.
What the set looks like will depend on the character you chose.
Mystery Gifts are obtained in Jubilife City inside of the TV station. However, the TV station isn’t instantly accessible on your first visit, though you can start making steps towards it.
Talk to the first person you come across in Jubilife City, who will ask you to obtain coupons from three clowns in the area in exchange for a Pokétch. Once you’ve done this, ignore the TV station for now and head to the first gym.
When you’ve beaten Roark, head back to Jubilife City as instructed by your friend. Slightly North, in Route 204, you’ll find two Team Galactic grunts who you’ll have to defeat in a double battle with Lucas/Dawn.
Once you’ve done this, you’ll be able to enter the TV station.
Up on third floor, you should talk to the man furthest south in the room. He’ll ask you which TV you like to watch, and you should select, “EVERYONE HAPPY WI-FI CONNECTION.”
Once you’ve done this, Mystery Gifts will be a new option in your main menu and you can connect to the internet to get your Platinum Clothing, as well as your Manaphy Egg.
How to Wear It¶
You won’t be able to wear your Platinum Clothing right away, sadly.
This is the other set of Platinum Clothing.
Instead, you’ll have to hold off until you reach Veilstone City, where there will be a clothing store that allows you to change your look.
