Taito - Asakusa

By
Jarrod Garripoli

There are 200 Mimans hidden throughout the four regions of Shin Megami Tensei V. This page will list the locations for the Asakusa area of the Taito region.

The Asakusa area is basically a large, circular section of the map, with many different layers. On the very bottom layer, there is a large rock formation and the Miman will be on the northeastern side of the rock.

After sliding down the hill and properly entering the Asakusa area, follow the main path around to the eastern side. Once you make it there, look on the large block that is overlooking the bottom layer to find the Miman.

While on the path to the previous Miman, you came across a narrow hill that leads to an upper layer of the area. Climb that hill, then head west and upon reaching another hill, look on the big block at the end to find this Miman.

Upon collecting the previous Miman, head up the hill next to it and continue west. Go past the Girimekhalas and in the northwestern corner, on the edge, will be the Miman. Make sure you don’t accidentally fall off here, as you will need to make a long trek back to this location.

Miman 170

Go to the location where you encountered the Abscess in Asakusa, which is to the east of the fork that is east of the previous Miman. Once you’re there, go east and you will see some climbing blocks on the map. Drop down them to find the Miman on a small ledge.

Miman 171

This one is located close to the Asakusa Leyline fount, which is right before you enter the area to fight Vasuki, one of the main story bosses in Taito. Look west of the fount for a giant rock, with the Miman being behind it.

From the leyline fount, go south and slide down the hill, then go west to a small area with some vending machines. You can drop down to a normally inaccessible area just north of the vending machines. Down here, head west to some climbing blocks, so go up there and immediately go to the dead end to the west to find the Miman.

Miman 173

Right by the climbing blocks mentioned in the previous Miman, you will find another hill to go up. Once you climb the hill, head north-northwest to find a Cironnup that can reveal the locations of all Mimans in the region. Just west of the Cironnup will be those big, glowing blocks and behind them is the Miman.

Miman 174

(1 of 3) Drop down here by the Cironnup

Just southeast of the Cironnup are two Rangda demons roaming, like normal. North of them, on the map, is a ledge, where you can drop down to a little spot. As soon as you drop down, look to the west to find the Miman.

Miman 175

Opposite of where the previous Miman was located is a small tunnel that leads to an area underneath train tracks. Go to the southern end to find a Demon Statue and just north of it, right next to one of the support pillars, will be Miman.
