He of a Hundred Hands is a Subquest in Shin Megami Tensei V. Most Subquests will reward you with a large amount of experience, some Macca, and then you’ll receive an item of sorts. Most of the time, it’ll be a Talisman which allows you to have access to the different Magatsuhi skills in the game.

Defeat the Hecatoncheires for Valkyrie.
Where to start He of a Hundred Hands¶
Once you make it to the Akihabara Electric Town Leyline in Chiyoda, you will see a Valkyrie right next to the fount. This Valkyrie is the one that will give you the quest. Her team was attacked by a Hecatoncheires and she wants revenge on it, so she asks you to defeat the demon in return.
Where to find Hecatoncheires for He of a Hundred Hands¶
Hecatoncheires is a Punishing Foe you might have noticed while exploring, although you possibly didn’t actually see it. The demon is located underneath the bridge where the Akihabara Leyline is located, which was right before fighting the boss, Shohei Yakumo. To get to it, you will need to find a way underneath the bridge, so head to the eastern end first. There will be a spot where you can drop off of the tracks, on the northern side, and right near the Hecatoncheires.

Hecatoncheires can be on the easier end of difficult, or it could be a troublesome boss. That entirely depends on the skills it decides to use in your battle with it. First, it has pretty decent Strength and Vitality, so you will want to try and use Tarunda to lower its attack. Sukunda is especially important, as Hecatoncheires can buff itself with Sukukaja, which you do not want in this case. The reason for this is that its two Physical-based skills have inherent low accuracy, so it increasing its accuracy is not going to help those skills miss at all. Of course, Hecatoncheires does have Critical Aura, which will guarantee that both Crusher Onslaught and Rampage do connect 100% (and they will be Critical hits, too).
Outside of the above, Hecatoncheires has the ability to attempt to inflict Seal on a single character with Makajama. Should this happen, immediately cure it, as you will not be able to use any skills at all. The only other skill to be careful about here in this battle is Storm Dracostrike, which unlike the other ones above, has a normal chance of connecting and is, of course, Electric-based. That means you don’t want anyone weak to Electric on your team (just to be safe), even though Hecatoncheires might not use this outside of the Magatsuhi charge attack. Whenever you see it charge its Magatsuhi, though, it will guarantee the use of Storm Dracostrike, so you can simply toss an Elec Dampener.
Hecatoncheires is weak to Force, while being immune to Dark. Because its level is 47, you should be around that level, too, and it is there that you can fuse Oberon, who has access to Zandyne. It might be a good idea to give him Zanma, too, as Zandyne does cost a good bit of MP. Hecatoncheires is also weak to the Mirage ailment, so if you can get any move that inflicts it, that will help with it missing its attacks. As long as you keep tabs on its accuracy, then this battle should be pretty standard. Note that the above recommended team takes into account that Storm Dracostrike is only used during the Magatsuhi charge and not as a normal skill.
