God Cooks and Alchemists have a special niche: besides devising divine dishes and potions, they can also create unique candies that permanently increase stats:
How Candies Work¶
Each candy increases the corresponding stat by 1 point when consumed; for example, a Strength Candy will increase your Strength by 1 point.
You can craft as many candies as you want (so long as you have the materials), but before you go build a candy-making factory, there are a few things to bear in mind.
Cooking Your Candies¶
Candies are pretty amazing, so you shouldn’t be surprised to learn the ingredients to make them will require a fair amount of effort to acquire.
**Material** | **Candy** | **Location** |
---|---|---|
Golden Apple | Strength, Dexterity, Focus | Trial of Time/Light: Penultimate floor |
Galaxy Apple | Vitality, Intelligence, Luck | Trial of Darkness/Light: Penultimate floor |
Divine Pods | All | Forest Shrine: Trial Tykes (rare) Trial of Darkness: Shadow Protector |
Remote Island Honey | Strength | Central Grasslands: Godbee |
Hermit Carrot | Vitality | Forest Shrine: Shopkeeper (post-story) |
Goldweed | Dexterity | Origin Island: Gold weeds |
Marshmallow Nuts | Intelligence | Central Grasslands: Tall nut trees Forest Shrine: Hot Spring Jelling (rare) |
Centurial Nuts | Focus | Central Grasslands: Tall nut trees |
Golden Droppings | Luck | Central Grasslands: Angelic Bunny |
By the way, you don’t actually need to collect hundreds of ingredients to make 100 candies; if you’re decently quick with your crafting, you will make 4 candies (rather than 1) per crafting process.
So you only need to collect, say, 25 apples instead of 100. That said, you still need to collect 75 Divine Pods, which will probably take you a while… Oh well, one step at a time!
