Tips¶
Just a little more until you’re a Master; try not to blow yourself up just yet…
Giant Tree Nuts for the Maxheal Dust and Hi-Energy Powder are sold by from the Leafes’ shop in Elderwood Village or dropped after felling a Great Elderwood Tree in the north-east corner of the Elderwood (not Deep Elderwood).
Arch Alcheweeds for the sprays can be purchased from the Al Maajik Shady Shop or picked up from the Subterranean Lake. With the Desert Shopping+ bonus, you can buy Demonic Powder from the Shady Shop as well; otherwise, vanquish a Desert Spook outside the Ancient Ruins.
Unfortunately Sharp Claws are not sold, but they drop not too infrequently from the Pterodactyls in the Drysand Desert. Likewise, you’ll need to bust a Crocturtle in Nautilus Cave to get your hands on a Timeworn Shell .
Strong Fangs require some mild brutality too; they’re often dropped after KO’ing a Fanged Ape on Mt. Snowpeak, just before the entrance to the snowy summit.
Curious about a Curious Object ? These drop from the shadow creatures in the Dark Void, accessible after completing the story and reaching Level 40. Too faraway for you? You can buy them from Professor Snooze’s Lab after becoming a Master (better write a reminder).
String and Wonderful String aren’t hard to get your hands on. Just befriend Baste the parrot in Madam Purl’s House, towards the centre of the Port Puerto Palace Way.
Similarly, Al Maajik Gold isn’t as rare as it sounds, sold for cheap in the Al Maajik ore stall. Rubies , Sapphires and Emeralds are all sold here too, but Desert Shopping+ is needed for Emeralds.
To make your Black-Rimmed Glasses, head to Cacto Cove by paying the ferrymen along the south bank of the Al Maajik Outskirts (after becoming best buds with Magnificus). Then seek the salesplush at the top of the giant cactus to get the Black Gel you need.
The elemental Manas you require for the rings, such as Fire Mana , are all sold by the teacher in Esmerelda’s Academy of Magic (where you bought the Water Mana).
Lastly, for Platinum Ore , look for the salesplush at the top of Mt. Snowpeak Summit, who you may have visited to buy Mountain Spring Water. Platinum Ingots , however, cannot be purchased at all (unless you’re a Blacksmith) and must be made by a Blacksmith.
