Tips¶
Things are getting a bit hot and steamy, as you head deep into the Lava Cave and then run around Tortuga Archipelago and the Drysand Desert for a bit. To reach the Lava Cave, head south-west from the Crowned Champion’s house.
The Desert Spook , found towards the far north-east of Drysand Desert, isn’t too bad, but avoid fire spells or you’ll do zero damage.
For the Ice Spook , remember to speak to the Guide Paladin outside the entrance to Mt. Snowpeak so you can teleport straight to the summit. Once there, you’ll find it haunting the north-eastern peak, near the entrance to the Napdragon’s Nest.
Beware that you have to get past the Silverfang (who’s much stronger) to reach the peak, but if you’re lucky the passage east won’t be blocked so you can run past without a fight.
Then we come to the two wraiths… Both are stronger versions of the Earth Wraith, so if you haven’t beaten that one yet, you should go and try it now!
The Blaze Wraith is the weaker of the two and it’s weak to water spells , making it an easier target. Trouble is the arena is tiny so you have to keep moving to avoid getting hit. In particular, its megaton bomb (after hovering in the air) packs a punch.
The Gale Wraith , who appears in the middle of the desert during the day, is slightly stronger and has no weakness. However you’ve got the entire desert as your battleground, so use that to your advantage and keep your distance at all times.
You’ll want to stay far away as well because the wraith’s spells cover a wider area. When you see the wraith hover in the air, just forget everything and run as its lightning storm has a massive range.
At this stage, allies will be very useful to distract the wraith’s attention, allowing you more time to lay on the offensive. Even if they barely do any damage and keep getting KO’d, it’s better having them on the floor than you on the floor.
