Tabantha Wheat

By
Vincent Lau

Naturally, Tabantha Wheat can be found around the Tabantha Frontier.

This grain is cultivated extensively on the Tabantha Plains. It’s ground finely with a millstone to be used in cooking. Use it to make things such as stews and breads.

Raw Effect:

  • Recovery: 1 heart

Recipe Effect:

  • Duration: +1 minute (first), +30 seconds (thereafter)
  • Recovery: +2 hearts

Where to Find

Tabantha Wheat can be found by cutting tall grass around the Tabantha Frontier. You can also purchase a small amount from shops.

(1 of 4) General Store at Rito Village.

If you don’t want to get your hands dirty, you can purchase 3 Tabantha Wheat each from Rito Village and Gerudo Town, for a total of 6.

(1 of 5) Area where Tabantha Wheat can spawn.

Depending on what you’re cooking, 6 Tabantha Wheat may not be enough. In which case, you can try cutting down tall grass in the area shown on our map.

Our favorite place to farm Tabantha Wheat is the grassy ridge a short distance east from Rito Village. If you’ve completed the Divine Beast Vah Medoh, fast-travel to it and then glide from there. Look for a tall, narrow tower.

Once you’ve exhausted the nearby grass, you can make it instantly re-grow by fast-traveling to Vah Medoh again and then gliding back.
