Underground Floor 2

(1 of 2) Floor 2 pits you against two troublesome Wizzrobes.

Floor 2 pits you against two troublesome Wizzrobes. (left), Glide right to meet the first one… (right)

Difficulty Monsters
★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆ Bokoblin x2, Blue Bokoblin x1, Fire Wizzrobe x1, Meteo Wizzrobe x1

The second floor of the Middle Trials has two pillars of sorts near the center, with multiple platforms around for you to land on. Hopping around in the air are two Wizzrobes, including a stronger Meteo one.

Strategy

As you enter, there will be a Fire Wizzrobe towards the right. Glide towards it. When the Wizzrobe is over the abyss (and not a platform), pull out your bow to trigger bullet-time. Aim for the Wizzrobe’s head and try to score a head-shot, with the satisfying “cling” sound effect.

(1 of 2) Aim for a head shot while in mid-air.

Aim for a head shot while in mid-air. (left), The impact will send the Wizzrobe straight down, into the abyss hopefully. (right)

The Wizzrobe should fall down, straight to its death. Of course, if the Wizzrobe falls into the abyss, you won’t get its wand, but you don’t really need it (and you’ll get one later anyway). However, if the Wizzrobe lands on a platform, either poke it with your weapons or retreat and lure it towards the abyss for another attempt.

Next, glide anti-clockwise around the edge of the room. After turning a corner, you should spot another Wizzrobe minding its own business. This one’s a Meteo Wizzrobe, which has more HP than the previous one. Again, wait for its to hop around above the abyss, then glide towards it and snipe its head to send it aaaaaaaall the way down.

That’s the hard part done. Continue to the next corner, where the Bokoblin are. Snipe the Bokoblin archer on the higher platform, right near the corner. Smash the boxes for the loot, then glide down to the longer platform below and bullet-time shoot the two Bokoblin, prioritizing the blue one since it’s tougher. Break some more crates, then exit the floor.
