A guide on how to unlock and complete Noe Rajee Shrine, which is the third trial in Ex Champion Revali’s Song DLC quest.
How to “shoot four targets to win”¶
To unlock the final shrine, you need to head over to the Flight Range north of Rito Village and speak to Teba about the four targets trial. When you do, blue rings will appear around all of the targets in the Flight Range. Your aim is to seemingly “shoot four targets at once”, which may seem like an impossible task but when you shoot whilst mid-air (paragliding or jumping), you’ll slow time down and you’ll have a few seconds to shoot your bow. The time you have in this slow-mo period is dependent on your stamina wheels, if you have less than two wheels then you may want to bring some food or potions that increase it temporarily.
You don’t want to get tempted by the two targets at the center, right in front of the platform either, paraglide around the pillar and you’ll find that the targets are closer together and it’ll be easier to shoot at them in quick succession. Whilst you shoot at the targets, make sure you keep an eye on your stamina. If you think you’re not gonna be able to shoot four before your stamina runs out, make sure to quit before it hasn’t depleted otherwise you’ll fall into the water and drown.
When you’ve successfully shot four targets, Noe Rajee Shrine will appear in the water below.
How to Complete Noe Rajee: The Four Winds¶
The first thing you’ll want to do is run up and stand on the fan. It isn’t on yet, but once you throw a bomb at the orange crystal or shoot it with an arrow, then it’s send up a gust of wind that you can paraglide on. The wind will take you up to a platform ledge overlooking a large rotating structure. Within the structure, you’ll find four more orange crystals that, upon hitting, will turn on a fan and create a gust of wind. There are four fans to be powered up and each one is on a slightly higher up platform, meaning you need to turn each of them on to get to the top of the structure.
The first fan is powered by the orange crystal found behind the gate at the bottom of the structure that opens when a gust of wind powers the propellor beneath it the gate.
The second orange crystal is found behind the explodable stone blocks on one of the corners of the structure. You can either shoot it with a bomb arrow or throw a remote bomb at it from the ledge above or by dropping it into a gust of wind from one of the fans as it passes by.
The third fan is then powered by the orange crystal found behind bars. You can’t actually get to it, instead you’ll need to use one of the gusts of wind to boost you into the air and then shoot at the crystal in slow-mo.
Then, the final orange crystal is found at the center of the structure, which you can reach by finding the alcove at the bottom with a set of four fans. Paraglide over to the fans and let them take you up into the structure where you can then hit crystal and power the final fan.
After all the fans are powered up, which can be done in any order, you’ll need to take them all the way up to the top of the structure where you’ll find a final fan. Before you head to the end of the shrine by boosting yourself up into the air with the gust of wind, paraglide to the opposite direction to grab the treasure. To do so, you’ll need to paraglide around the pillar to find a fan inside that’ll take you up to the treasure chest, that you can then loot for a Shield of the Mind’s Eye with Durability Up +.
Once you’ve grabbed the treasure make your way back over to the fans and head to the end of the shrine and collect the final Medoh’s Emblem.
