Unless you want to expand your cooking repertoire, we’d recommend farming Raw Prime Meat instead. It can be used in place of Raw Bird Thigh in most recipes, while being much easier to obtain.

If you’re itching for some Raw Bird Thigh though, you could try hunting Rainbow Pigeon in Hyrule Ridge, south-west from Ridgeland Tower. They’re fairly common there, although they’re short so the tall grass easily conceals them.
(1 of 3) A big group of Islander Hawks can be found flying near Gerudo Canyon Pass.
Islander Hawks are easy to spot, but they’re always high up in the sky. That said, there’s a massive group north-east of Wasteland Tower that’s within archery distance, if you climb up the cliffs.
Also, if you’ve unlocked Revali’s Gale, you can fly right next to them, then trigger bullet-time while mid-air to easily shoot multiple down.
