The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Apple

By
Vincent Lau

An apple a day keeps Ganon away. Or something like that.

A common fruit found on trees all around Hyrule. Eat it fresh, or cook it to increase its effect.

Raw Effect:

  • Recovery: 0.5 heart

Recipe Effect:

  • Duration: +30 seconds
  • Recovery: +1 heart

Where to Find

(1 of 3) You’ll find an apple orchard towards the east side of Satori Mountain.

The best place to find Apples is Satori Mountain. Fast-travel to the Mogg Latan Shrine, then head north-east. Over here, there’s a beautiful apple orchard with more apples than you’ll probably ever need.

(1 of 4) Applean Forest is located east from Hyrule Castle Town.

The next best place is the aptly-named Applean Forest, towards the north-east corner of Hyrule Field. You can fast-travel to the Kaya Wan Shrine near the Wetland Stable, then travel north-west. Just be wary of a sleeping Blue Hinox.

Finally, if you don’t want to stray far from civilization, there are many apple trees in Hateno Village, especially to the right of the ramp leading up to the Ancient Tech Lab.
