Difficulty Monsters
★★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆ Fire-Breath Lizalfos x3

The second floor of the volcanic segment has four tall, narrow islands surrounded by lava. Near the center, there are two air vents that you can use to travel between the islands.

Strategy

Jump towards the air vent directly ahead and glide left. A Fire-Breath Lizalfos should notice you and begin preparing to shoot arrows. While in mid-air, shoot the Lizalfos in the head to stun it. You can then shoot more arrows or pummel it with melee weapons to finish it off. We suggest using the Great Frostblade from Floor 5 for a quick kill.

Next, return to the air vent and glide to the island to the right of the entrance. This island also has a Fire-Breath Lizalfos that you can kill in the same manner as before. Afterwards, break the metal crate by dropping it from a height with Magnesis, for example, to get some roasted food.

From here, face the remaining island, which is taller than the others. Leap towards the second air vent and glide once more. The last island also has a Fire-Breath Lizalfos armed with a bow. Try your best to perform a mid-air headshot to stun the Lizalfos; the added height means you’ve got less time to shoot. Then kill it like the previous two.

(1 of 2) Drop the metal crates from a great height or hit them with a hefty weapon.

Once all three lizards are gone, break the nearby metal crate for some Fire Arrows. There’s no need to use them for a while, so keep them safe for now. Finally, glide back to the entrance, which is now the exit.
