Maka Rah Shrine is found northeast of Rito Village (left), and it’s titled ‘Steady thy Heart’. (right)

How to Complete Maka Rah: Steady thy Heart

To begin, you’ll want to light the sconce to the left of the gate. You can do this with a fire weapon, or transfer the fire from the right hand sconce using a torch.

Next, you’ll need to navigate over a spinning cylinder covered in spikes. You’ll need to make your way slowly over this path, making sure to avoid the spikes and not to rush and fall off! At the end of the obstacle you’ll need to stand on the pressure plate to open up the door to the next room.

Make your way across the cylinder, avoiding the spikes as you go.

In the next room, you’ll come face to face with four weak Guardian Scouts. Take them out quickly, either by charging at them with your melee weapon or throwing some remote bombs. After clearing those, use cryosis to make yourself an ice cube up to the treasure chest on the right. Then, repeat the same process on the left to stand on the pressure plate that opens up the back wall to reveal another pressure plate and gate.

Watch out for those Guardian Scouts!

When you’re ready, stand on the pressure plate, but get ready to quickly dodge out of the way of a giant spikey ball that’s about to smash through the wooden crates up ahead! After making your way past the spikey ball and wooden crates follow the path upwards and look out for a treasure chest hidden in an alcove on the left wall. You can use magnesis to bring the chest to you, and you can then loot it for a Diamond!

Quickly get out of the way of the rolling spikey ball too!

The final obstacle involves standing on the pressure plate and quickly using magnesis to grab the spikey metal ball rolling towards you. You can then walk up the ramp with the ball until you reach the end of the shrine and claim your Spirit Orb!
