You can find a dozen Sunshrooms in Retsam Forest, a short distance north from the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab.
(1 of 4) Fast-travel to Gorae Torr Shrine and then glide down to the ground.
Another place to try is the area near Gut Check Rock, north of Death Mountain’s summit. Just be mindful of a sleeping Hinox.
Last but not least, there’s also the “mushroom ledge”, south of Satori Mountain’s summit. This is a great place to visit if you need other types of mushrooms as well.
