Description¶
Komore Teahouse is empty, silent as the grave but for Taroumaru’s uneasy barking. You have a bad feeling about this…
Steps¶
Go to Komore Teahouse the following day¶
This quest requires you to go back to the Komore Teahouse in Inazuma City. When you arrive, the place is quiet, and no-one can be found. After you look around for a bit, Ayaka will run in, asking if you’ve seen Thoma. Paimon will tell her that you haven’t, and she’ll tell you that he’s been taken away by the Tenryou Commission. According to rumours, the Raiden Shogun is holding a Vision Hunt Ceremony at the Statue of the Omnipresent God today, to mark the 100th Vision seized under the decree. Ayaka presumes that the Shogun wants to mark the milestone with the 100th Vision, and Thoma happens to be lucky 100. A panicked Ayaka wants to rush and save him, but you’ll tell her he’s your friend too, and that you’ll do it.
Go to the Vision Hunt Ceremony¶
Head southeast of your current location to find the Statue of the Omnipresent God and you’ll find Thoma in cuffs waiting for the Raiden Shogun to take his vision. Here you’ll step in and prevent her from taking it, but in the process making her aware of your ability to wield elemental energy without possessing a Vision. This will cause the Raiden Shogun to want to make an example out of you by defeating and embedding you into the statue.
Defeat the Raiden Shogun¶
You’ll immediately notice as this battle gets started that you can’t do very much damage, but don’t worry as this battle is unwinnable, so your goal is to chip away at her until she loses about 20-25% Health which will then lead into a cutscene. However, this still isn’t an easy opponent as the Raiden Shogun has a lot of high damage attacks which don’t match up well against very aggressive players.
You’ll want to keep a large gap between you and the Raiden Shogun, so you have a lot of room to get out of the way of her attacks, then as she stops momentarily to get a stamina back you’ll want to go in and use you’re most powerful attacks, such as any Elemental Bursts if they are available.
Throughout the battle she’ll spin her spear in front of her and teleport towards you which will then lead into a triple slash attack or a large shockwave around herself. She can also lift her arms up and perform a shockwave in front of her, so be ready to dodge to the side. As the battle progresses she’ll summon three electro orbs around the arena which you’ll need to quickly destroy one of them to avoid a large AoE attack.
Once you’ve successfully dealt enough damage to the Raiden Shogun, the arena will change and your attacks will be blocked, so keep to the outer edge of the battlefield and keep sprinting around in a loop. However you’ll need be ready to dash away from her when she teleports to towards you to avoid any attacks. Finally, keep avoiding attacks, then you’ll transition into a cutscene which will then bring this quest to a close.
