In order to access this set of challenges, you’ll need to reach complete Currents Deep Beneath the Lanterns and all nine Lantern Rite Tales 1.

Mechanici Related Challenges¶
Like in the We’ve Only Just Begun (Challenges) , continue leveling Tidal Flats, Spark, Thin Ice, Gust, Thunderstrike, and Recovery Mechanicus Mechanici to Level 8, then continue replaying Theater Mechanicus until you have access to Difficulty 6: Multiplaier 2.0
Once you’ve gained access to Difficulty 6, continue replaying it whilst placing Recovery Mechanicus’ in the chokepoints, then take on the Fearless Mystic Arts that come available to give your more Sigils. Your goal is to finish the game with 1,500 Veneficus Sigil, as this is the maximum you can bring back.
Stage Related Challenges¶
After you’ve levelled up your Mechanici, you’ll want to focus on the stage challenges. This time around you’ll have a third type of challenge to worry about, but only focus on one at time unless you’re extremely confident in your Tower Defense Skills.
- Clear a stage at difficulty 5 and 6 in Theater Mechanicus while defeating all monsters.
These challenges require you to defeat all enemies, so make sure you avoid the Fearless Mystic Art and pick Mystic Arts that benefit that particular round. For example, if you’re facing Pyro enemies you’ll want an Art that is strong against them, so “(Cryo/Hydro/Anemo) Mechanici ATK 75%”. Another useful method here, is to use the Mysticus Mechanici, as this will buff the other Mechanci within its vicinity.
- Clear a stage at difficulty 5 or higher with a score of at least 630 points in Theater Mechanicus. / Clear a stage at difficulty 6 or higher with a score of at least 700 points in Theater Mechanicus.
Like in the previous challenges, cover all choke points with Mechanci that have the correct elements, so Cryo/Hydro will be better used against Pyro. Along with this, place Recovery Mechanicus in locations where enemies commonly die to gain more points and always grab the Mystic Art “Get 250 Veneficus Points” when it’s available. Finally, make sure to attempt the Fearless Mystic Arts at an early stage to build up your points.
- Clear a stage at difficulty 5 and 6 in Theater Mechanicus without building more than 12 Mechanici throughout the stage.
For this Challenge you’ll need to complete both stages 5 and 6 without using more than 12 Mechanci. However, you’re able to deconstruct Mechianci and replace them in other locations. Like for the challenges above, place Mechanci with the correct elements in the choke points along side a Mysticus Mechanici to buff their damage which will take their health down faster.
Other Challenges¶
Alongside the other seven challenges, you’ll also need to Defeat a total of 300 monsters in Theater Mechanicus and spend 3,000 Veneficus Points. These will come naturally whilst completing the other challenges.
