This page will give stat information, recommended characters, and drop location about the Artifact set Vermillion Hereafter which was released with version 2.6 in Genshin Impact.
Lore¶
Even the ancient cinnabar cliffs were once home to lovely blooming flowers. Even in the era when blackened blood flowed freely, they were not stained by even the smallest smidgen of mud. While the Millelith stands guard, evil shall never prevail. Even should the enemy be dark demons, this would not change. The silent mountain people and the steel moon constructed their peaceful camp.
Description¶
The Vermillion Hereafter set is a good set for any characters that’ll stay on the field after their Elemental Burst has been used. The reasoning for this is the attack increase every time your health decreases after you’ve used an Elemental Burst. With Hu Tao, you can exploit this as her health will deplete after using her Elemental Skill thus gaining stacks of ATK + 10%. Xiao can also take advantage of this effect as his Elemental Burst also drains health, but he has no natural way to regain this health outside of food or other characters skills.
Set Bonuses¶
- 2-Piece: ATK +18%.
- 4-Piece: After using an Elemental Burst. This character will gain the Nascent Light effect, increasing their ATK by 8% for 16s. When the character’s HP decreases, their ATK will further increase by 10%. This increase can occur this way a maximum of 4 times. This effect can be triggered once every 0.8s. Nascent Light will be dispelled when the character leaves the field. If an Elemental Burst is used again during the duration of Nascent Light, the original Nascent Light will be dispelled.

The Lost Valley, Domain Reliquary: Tier I |
The Lost Valley domain was added with version 2.6. This Domain of Blessing is located in the Fuao Vale, The Chasm, Liyue which was also added with the latest version. You’ll need to be at least Adventure Rank 30 and ideally have a party level range of 60 for the first tier. The other way to obtain this set is by opening a Domain Reliquary, Tier I for 5-Star and Tier II for 4-Star artifact. You can obtain these from the Spiral Abyss, but be warned that you’re not guaranteed that specific set.
Recommended Characters¶
You’ll find that Hu Tao and Xiao especially will like this artifact set due to their Skills’ nature of reducing their health. This’ll allow them to get full use out of the set, and in turn, make them even stronger. As the set gains an ATK +10% buff per stack, and they gain a stack every time they lose health to a maximum of 4 stacks, they could be potential gaining an additional 40% Attack.
