Wind Chaser is an event that debuted in Genshin Impact version 3.1. This is a domain-based event with set courses that you must run through in order to earn prizes. While the task isn’t difficult in and of itself, the event does have some minor but annoying issues. Below we go over the easiest way to make it through Wind Chaser as a whole.
Description¶
You meet an adventurer named Honglang out in the wilds. He seems to be attempting to explore a strange Domain…
Event Duration¶
October 17, 2022, to October 31, 2022
How to Start Wind Chaser¶
To start Wind Chaser, you must be Adventure Rank 20 and above. Head to the hill between Stone Gate and the Dawn Winery. Here you will find Honglang. Simply speak to him to open the domain and begin taking on the Wind Chaser challenges.
How to Play Wind Chaser¶
There are six challenges in all that are connected to three different activities inside each domain. To get the 80 Primogems, you simply need to make it to the end of each level. If you want the talent books and weapon materials, then you will need to complete the in-domain challenges and collect coins before exiting each level.
Wind Chaser makes use of wind mechanisms. You can change the direction that air is blowing and even make it shoot upwards to use your glider. There are also mechanisms that stop airflow completely, and you will need to make use of both of these to navigate each domain. You are able to fall off, and there is a time limit of 20 minutes per level.
In addition, you will have to collect an anemo ball to start the in-domain challenges. Once one of these challenges starts, a separate clock will appear. You will need to gather every anemo ball to complete the challenge before time runs out.
In addition to this, you will also be collecting coins. Most of these will be out in the open, but each domain has an enemy room that you will need to beat in order to obtain all coins in the level. Keep in mind that each level has more coins than are needed to complete the mini-challenge.
The domains can be a little tricky, and it’s easy to get stuck. If you are caught perpetually falling or trapped in between blocks, be sure to reset your position. Even in the video above, you can see that there are some spots in the first domain that caught Kazuha for a few seconds each.
