Head to this location on the map (left), then defeat the Stonehide Lawachurl (right)

Once you’ve completed A New Star Approaches, speak with Lan at Liyue to begin this quest. After the conversation has come to a close, head over to the orange circle located southwest to find a Stonehide Lawachurl. Defeat by using a Geo Character, then return to Lan after finding Ash.
