Making a place to store all the items you collect or mine at your outpost is a critical part of outpost building and one you shouldn’t skimp on. Storage can be slightly more costly to build, just due to the reason that you need to make multiple of the same item in order to keep up with all your items. The guide below goes over every type of storage in Starfield and how much it costs to build them.
All Storage Containers and Their Building Cost¶
Having storage at your outpost gives you a place to hide your materials. In addition, it can help you store items from your extractors. Storage is essential as there is no way to carry all your items around with you, and if your using an outpost for mining, you will quickly end up past your weight limit.
