What Does The Wellness Skill Do in Starfield?

The Wellness Skill improves overall health and life expectancy which means you’ll be able to take a lot more damage from enemies before you’ll need to use a med-kit to heal up. If you’re wearing heavier equipment that has a lot more defense, then you’ll find tackling multiple a lot easier as you wouldn’t have to constantly retreat and recover your health. This will especially come in handy when fighting bosses throughout the main story, so you’ll want to focus on leveling up this skill early on.

How to Level The Wellness Skill in Starfield?

Before you can start leveling up the Wellness Skill you’ll need to unlock it and that can be done by heading on over to the Physical Tab and using up one of your skill points. Alternatively, you can choose a background at the start of the game that comes with it already unlocked, such as Combat Medic, Diplomat or [File Not Found]. In order to level up this skill and reach rank 4 you’ll need to heal up a total of 1000 damage.

There are a variety of ways to heal yourself in Starfield, such as Bandages, Antibiotics, Heal Paste, Med Pack and Food. However, you don’t want to waste all of your resources in order to complete these challenges as you may need to use them in future missions, so you’ll want to unlock the skill and gradually work towards ranking up whilst playing through the game.
