Once you are done slaying Terrormorphs you can proceed on to the final mission in the Vanguard faction storyline, A Legacy Forged. During this mission, you will be able to determine the final fate of Vae Victus and get a special reward for your efforts in helping out the UC. The guide below goes over how to complete a Legacy Forged and what rewards you get from completing the UC Vanguard quest line.
How to Complete A Legacy Forged¶
Once you are done with Hostile Intelligence, you will need to head back to New Atlantis and visit MAST. This time, you will be taking the elevator straight down to Subsection Seven to confront Vae Victus. There is no combat during any part of this mission, you are just completing the lore of the Vanguard. Once you get into the room with Vic, use the intercom to confront him. He will try to convince you to help him blame the whole incident on Reginald Orlasse, it doesn’t matter what you tell him here, you can change your mind when speaking with the Council.
You will now need to head back to the elevator and go to the Council’s floor. Head into the office to speak with your team before the final Council meeting. It’s here that you can once again go over all the information you obtained about the Terrormorph attacks. When you’re ready, let Hadrian know and head into the Council’s room. It’s here that you can choose to either blame or lie about Vae Victuc’s involvement in the attacks. This doesn’t seem to have any huge changes to the game that we can find.
Vanguard Faction Completion Rewards¶
For your efforts, President Abello will make you a Class One citizen. You can then head downstairs to speak with Talus and collect more Credits. He will also now have missions for you to choose from in order to earn more credits. Before you take those on though, you will want to head to Aphelion Realty across the street. Once there you will be able to get a free apartment. This is much better than the apartment you have to buy in Wells and offers you a view of the city, and a ton of room for decoration. If you want to visit it, you can follow the activity marker to the residential district where it’s located.
