There are four different factions that have their own individual questlines in Starfield and they all give you a unique reward. This page will provide you with a list of the correct order you should play the Freestar Collective Faction Quest in.

There are a total of seven missions in the Freestar Collective Faction Questline.

All Freestar Collective Quests in Starfield¶

In order to begin the Freestar Collective Faction Questline you’ll need to join the Rangers and that can be done by visiting Akila City which is located in the Cheyenna system, then as you enter you’ll notice that the Sheriff is dealing with a bank heist situation. If you’re having trouble locating him, then follow the steps on our How to Join Freestar Collective in Starfield. Once you’ve successfully become a Ranger Deputy you’ll need to playthrough a total of seven missions to complete the Freestar Collective Questline. These quests have you working on an investigation that tries to solve who stole the HopeTech Ship and attempted to steal a farm.

Each of the four factions have a unique reward for completing the questline, and for completing the Freestar Collective you’ll be rewarded with the Star Eagle which is one of the better Class A Ships you can obtain early on in the game, so if you’re starting your adventure and have yet to obtain a decent ship, then completing this questline is a must for you. Alternatively, the Mantis is another great ship to acquire early on as its reputation causes other ships to flee.
