Bravely Default: Where The Fairy Flies is a traditional Role Playing Game developed by Square Enix for the Nintendo 3DS. In terms of design, the game is reminiscent of earlier, classic RPGs; once again, you must guide your merry party of four across the globe to save the world from impending doom.
Like the games of the past, Bravely Default is not easy either, requiring careful planning and action to complete. However it’s not all a trip into the past, as Bravely Default boasts an innovative turn-based combat system that rewards skilled players.
The game also brings along many modern features to the table, such as the option to speed up battles and adjust encounter rate, allowing players to craft their own playing experience. In many ways, you could say Bravely Default contains the best things from the old and the new.
Also note that the Western version of Bravely Default: Where The Fairy Flies is actually not the first Bravely Default game. The first game was Bravely Default: Flying Fairy , which was only released in Japan. This game is the enhanced version of Flying Fairy, which was released later–known in Japan as Bravely Default: For The Sequel.
