There are 37 pieces of armor excluding merchants found around Liurnia. Some of these will be sets and will be looted at the same time. Four pieces of armor can be purchased from the various merchants.

Sage Hood¶

The Sage Hood is part of the Sage armor set. You can find this set at Stillwater Cave, north and below of the Lake-Facing Cliffs site of grace. It’ll be on a corspe submerged in poison, guarded by Giant Bats that’ll attack you once you’ve taken it.

Sage Robe¶

The Sage Robe is part of the Sage armor set. You can find this set at Stillwater Cave, north and below of the Lake-Facing Cliffs site of grace. It’ll be on a corspe submerged in poison, guarded by Giant Bats that’ll attack you once you’ve taken it.

Sage Trousers¶

The Sage Trousers is part of the Sage armor set. You can find this set at Stillwater Cave, north and below of the Lake-Facing Cliffs site of grace. It’ll be on a corspe submerged in poison, guarded by Giant Bats that’ll attack you once you’ve taken it.

Nox Mirrorhelm¶

The Nox Mirrorhelm isn’t part of a set. It is a durable helmet that has a good balance between Physical and Magic defense. You can find the helm in Cliffbottom Catacombs behind a sealed room which needs a Stonesword Key to open. You can find the Catacombs northeast of the Liurnia Highway South site of grace in the eastern part of Liurnia.

Leyndell Knight Helm¶

The Leyndell Knight Helm is part of the Leyndell Knight Set. This set is a heavy set that has high Robustness and decent immunity. You can find the helm by defeating Gold Dragon Cult Knights. The Knights can be found in a variety of places, but the group south of Artist’s Shack is the best place to find them. The Artist’s Shack is on the eastern part of Liurnia.

You can find the Fillet directly behind the Church of Inhibition site of grace, guarded by Invader Festering Fingerprint Vyke. The Church of Inhibition can be found at the northeastern tip of Liurnia.

Finger Maiden Robe¶

The Finger Maiden Robe is part of the Finger Maiden set. It’s a lightweight set that offers light physical resistance and ample magic defense. You can find the Robe directly behind the Church of Inhibition site of grace, guarded by Invader Festering Fingerprint Vyke. The Church of Inhibition can be found at the northeastern tip of Liurnia.

Finger Maiden Shoes¶

The Finger Maiden Shoes are part of the Finger Maiden set. It’s a lightweight set that offers light physical resistance and ample magic defense. You can find the Shoes directly behind the Church of Inhibition site of grace, guarded by Invader Festering Fingerprint Vyke. The Church of Inhibition can be found at the northeastern tip of Liurnia.

Blue Silver Mail Armor¶

The Blue Silver Mail Armor is part of the Blue Silver Mail Set. It is a medium weight set that offers good physical damage negation for its weight, but its resistances are a little on the lower end of the spectrum. You can obtain the Armor by defeating Albinauric Wolfback Archers that can be found west of the Slumbering Wolf’s Shack site of grace in the western part of Liurnia.

It is a medium weight set that offers good physical damage negation for its weight, but its resistances are a little on the lower end of the spectrum. You can obtain the skirt by defeating Albinauric Wolfback Archers that can be found west of the Slumbering Wolf’s Shack site of grace in the western part of Liurnia.

Black Wolf Mask¶

The Black Wolf Mask is part of Blaidd’s Set. It has moderate defence and robustness for its weight. To obtain the mask, you’ll need to go to Seluvis’s Rise and go behind the wall near the entrance of the tower. You can reach the wall by running and jumping up the dilapidated part of the wall.

Mask of Confidence¶

The Mask of Confidence is a lightweight headpiece that increase the Arcane Stat. It offers moderate resistances, but low physical damage negation. You can find the mask by looting a corpse on the walls of the secret area in the Carian Study Hall.

To access the secret area, you’ll need to progress Ranni’s questline enough to the point that she gives you a Carian Inverted Statue. Place the statue on the desk near the entrance (desk has a globe on it) and you’ll get a cutscene. The area you are looking for is past the window in the elevator shaft.

Fire Monk Hood¶

The Fire Monk Hood is part of the Fire Monk set. It is a medium weight headpiece that boosts the robustness resistance significantly. It has middling resistances and moderate physical damage negation. You can find the hood by defeating Fire Monks in camps around the eastern camps in Liurnia, although they can also be found in other regions.

Fire Monk Armor¶

The Fire Monk Armor is part of the Fire Monk set. It is a medium weight armor that boosts the robustness resistance significantly. It has middling resistances and moderate physical damage negation. You can find the armor by defeating Fire Monks around the eastern camps in Liurnia, although they can also be found in other regions.

It has middling resistances and moderate physical damage negation. You can find the hat by looting a chest on the upper floor of Renna’s Rise after following Ranni’s questline to completion. Renna’s Rise can be found in the upper northwest of Liurnia.

The Snow Witch Robe is part of the Snow Witch set. It is a lightweight robe that increases your Vitality and Focus resistances. Juvenile Scholar Cap¶

The Juvenile Scholar Cap is part of the Juvenile Scholar set. It is a lightweight cap that boosts magical defenses, but lacks physical protection. You can find the cap by interacting with a ghost in the graveyard area, east of Caria Manor. To gain access to the area, you’ll need to defeat the boss of Caria Manor first.

The Juvenile Scholar Robe is part of the Juvenile Scholar set. It is a lightweight robe that boosts magical defenses, but lacks physical protection. You can find the robe by interacting with a ghost in the graveyard area, east of Caria Manor. To gain access to the area, you’ll need to defeat the boss of Caria Manor first.

All Shields in Liurnia¶

There are 7 shields that can be found around Liurnia excluding merchants. Four shields can be purchased from the various merchants.

All Shields Purchased From Vendors¶

• The Nomadic Merchant West can be found sitting at a campfire at the Liurnia Lake Shore site of grace.

• You can find the Nomadic Merchant North just past the hole in Bellum Church, which is situated northeast of the lake, east of the Church of Inhibition.

• Pidia Carian Servant is at Caria Manor above the Manor Lower Level site of grace. Unfortunately, you can’t reach him from there, and you’ll have to drop the southwestern cliff from the Three Sisters sub area boss room to get there.

Golden Greatshield¶

The Golden Greatshield is a Greatshield. It scales primarily with STR, and it doesn’t come with any skill equipped, which means you can use and Ash of War on it. It has 100 Physical damage reduction when guarding with modest resistances. You can find the Greatshield by defeating Gold Dragon Cult Knights. The Knights can be found in a variety of places, but the group south of Artist’s Shack is the best place to find them. The Artist’s Shack is on the eastern part of Liurnia.

Spiralhorn Shield¶

The Spiralhorn Shield is a small shield. It scales primarily with DEX and STR, and has a 75 Physical damage reduction when guarding with middling resistances. It can be found by looting a corpse sitting on the edge of a cliff near the Mausoleum Compound, west of the Ruined Labyrinth site of grace in the eastern part of Liurnia.

Eclipse Crest Greatshield¶

The Eclipse Crest Greatshield is a Greatshield. It scales primarily with STR and has a 100 Physical Damage Reduction when guarding with moderate resistances, but good magic resistance. It doesn’t come equipped with an Ash of War, but one can be equipped on to it. You can find the shield by defeating Mausoleum Knights that wield it. The Knights can be found southwest of the Black Knife Catacombs in the northeastern part of Liurnia. It is not a guaranteed drop.

Jellyfish Shield¶

The Jellyfish Shield is a unique Greatshield. It Primarily scales with STR and DEX and has a 100 Physical Damage Reduction when guarding with moderate resistances. It comes equipped with the unique skill: Contagious Fury that buffs your attack for a short duration. You can find the shield by looting a corpse surrounded by four jellyfish directly to the north of the Foot of the Four Belfries site of grace, which is situated in the western part of Liurnia.

Ice Crest Shield¶

The Ice Crest Shield is a small shield. Due to its small size, it offers the least protection, and is used more for parrying than blocking. It scales primarily with STR and has a 68 Physical Damage Reduction when guarding with middling resistances. As it has no skill attached to it, it can be infused with an Ash of War. You can find the shield by looting a corpse leaning up against a rugged stone pillar in the gardens behind Caria Manor. Caria Manor is situated in the northeastern part of Liurnia.

Blue-White Wooden Shield¶

The Blue-White Wooden Shield is a small shield. Due to its small size, it offers the least protection, and is used more for parrying than blocking. It scales primarily with STR and has a 68 Physical Damage Reduction when guarding with middling resistances. As it has no skill attached to it, it can be infused with an Ash of War. You can find the shield by looting a corpse by the side of the building in the outskirts of the Academy Gate Town, slightly southwest of the South Raya Lucaria Gate site of grace.
