In Elden Ring, you’ll find a wide range of armor and shields that can either be bought, found, obtained as a drop from an enemy, or given as a reward for completing quests. This page will show you all the armor and shields in the Volcano Manor legacy dungeon.

All Armor and Shield Locations in Volcano Manor, Elden Ring¶

Albinauric Mask¶

The Albinauric Mask can be found in a hidden room which can be accessed from the Guest Hall Site of Grace in the southwest of the manor. You’ll need to turn left from the site and head southwest up the stairs. At the top, continue northwest through the doorway at the end of the hall, and turn left immediately as you exit into the open, climbing up the ladder directly in front of you. At the top of the ladder you’ll be on the rooftops, from which you can jump down to the south onto a balcony, leading to the hidden room.

Blackflame Monk Hood¶

The Blackflame Monk Hood is dropped by Blackflame Monk enemies, one of which can be found on the steps just outside the Temple of Eiglay. This is the easiest monk to farm in the area, and has a decent drop rate for all pieces. However, the pieces are still rare drops, and the armor chest piece in particular may take a while to get. The monk is quite powerful, but with the Temple of Eiglay Site of Grace nearby, you can use your most powerful skills each time to deal with him quickly.

Commoner’s Headband¶

The Commoner’s Headband can be looted from a corpse overlooking a lava lake with serpent statues to your right. The area can be accessed from the Temple of Eiglay Site of Grace by turning right and using the elevator to the southeast of it. Continue in this direction around the ramparts to the north, then jump down onto the rock surface below. Take the bridge east (killing the slugs as you go), jump onto the ledge below it to the northeast, then up to the main surface where the lava lake is located. Head northwest and jump through the window to your left to avoid the mechanical enemy. Continue up the stairs to the northwest until you reach the balcony overlooking the lake. Turn right just beyond the first cage on the ground to find the corpse on the edge of the rock.

Eye Surcoat¶

The Eye Surcoat can be looted from the ground just beneath where Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy was positioned upon defeating him. You can reach the lord by following the same path described above (to the Commoner’s Headband), but then continue north and up the stairs until you reach a portal, leading to the boss room.

Consort’s Mask¶

The Consort’s Mask is dropped by Lady Tanith upon killing her. Attacking her will summon a Crucible Knight who you’ll need to defeat first. You’ll find Lady Tanith in the Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy boss room after defeating him and resting at the Site of Grace.

Consort’s Robe¶

The Consort’s Mask is dropped by Lady Tanith upon killing her. Attacking her will summon a Crucible Knight who you’ll need to defeat first. You’ll find Lady Tanith in the Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy boss room after defeating him and resting at the Site of Grace.

Consort’s Trousers¶

The Consort’s Mask is dropped by Lady Tanith upon killing her. Attacking her will summon a Crucible Knight who you’ll need to defeat first. You’ll find Lady Tanith in the Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy boss room after defeating him and resting at the Site of Grace.

All Shields in Volcano Manor¶

Smoldering Shield¶

The Smoldering Shield can be looted from a corpse in the graveyard beneath the Prison Town Church Site of Grace. Head southeast through the door from the site, then turn right and follow the path down to the rooftops. Continue directly west over the rooftops and jump down once you reach the wooden bridge. Turn southeast and go through the archway, then turn right (west) and hug the wall as you make your way down the ledge path. Jump off at the end, being careful to avoid falling in the lava, then turn northwest to find the graveyard. The corpse with the shield is located at the northeastern side.
