Mimic Tear¶
This will likely be the first boss you encounter in Nokron, Eternal City. As you enter into the area for the first time, you’ll spot a fog gate across a bridge. When you enter into there, you’ll have to battle Mimic Tear. In the area leading up to Nokron, you’ll have fought some weird silver blobs called Silver Tears and this boss is essentially one of those except it’s now resembling you! It’ll have the same appearance, weapons, armor and ashes of war as you (whenever you entered into this fight). When you defeat your Mimic-self, you’ll be rewarded 10,000 Runes, Larval Tear x2, Silver Tear Mask. Larval Tears can be used to respec. When you next come across Silver Tears, you’ll also find that some of them now morph into humanoids - not necessarily you, but they’ll be much stronger in this form than in their natural blobby form.
Regal Ancestor Spirit¶
This boss is the stronger counterpart of the Ancestor Spirit boss you may have encountered in Siofra River. Similar to Ancestor Spirit, you’ll also have to light a series of altars to light up the sconces at the Nokron Hallowhorn Grounds to then have access to the boss’ arena. In Nokron, you’ll need to light 6 altars. Upon defeating Regal Ancestor Spirit, you’ll earn 24,000 Runes and Remembrance of the Regal Ancestor, which can be used to either unlock the Winged Greathorn or Ancestral Spirit’s Horn.
Valiant Gargoyle & Valiant Gargoyle (Twinblade)¶
This boss fight is found in Siofra Aqueduct. Siofra Aqueduct is only accessible from Nokron and not Siofra River, hence why the area is considered a part of Nokron. To access it, you’ll need to do a bit of parkour. First, find the Aqueduct-facing Cliffs site of grace, which is located up the cliff north of Hallowhorn Grounds. Then, you’ll be able to jump down to the ruins below. You can then follow a relatively linear path down through a ruined hall area before you reach a fog gate that takes you into the boss arena.
This is a duo-boss fight, in which a second Valiant Gargoyle will come join the fight when the first one reaches half health. The second Valiant Gargoyle has similar attack moves, except it wields a twin blade instead. This can be a pretty tough fight considering it’s 2v1, but the biggest tip to follow is to make sure to defeat the first Gargoyle first and then focus your efforts on the second. Oh, and keep an eye out for poisonous vomit on the ground! It can be hard to see and will definitely catch you off guard more than once. For defeating the two Gargoyles, you’ll earn 32000 Runes, Gargoyle’s Greatsword and Gargoyle’s Twinblade.
Dragonkin Soldier¶
The Dragonkin Soldier is found in a secret area of Nokron, Eternal City that is only accessible via a teleport waygate on the eastern side of Siofra River region (see map below). To reach the teleporter, travel up the large fallen stone column (watch out for the archers nearby!) and you’ll be able to find the waygate atop the ruins.
You can also encounter the Dragonkin Soldier in Lake of Rot. If you beat him in Siofra River/Nokron, you’ll get a Dragon Halberd and 16,000 Runes.
