This page details everything you need to know about where to find all Collectibles on Modvitnir’s Rig in God of War: Ragnarok. There are only four collectibles to find here, including the Mining Rig itself: one Legendary Chest, one Lore Marker, and some Buried Treasure which you can only acquire after finding the Fruits of Industry Treasure Map at Alberich Hollow.

Where to Find the Legendary Chest at Modvitnir’s Rig¶
The Legendary Chest at Modvitnir’s Rig is difficult to miss. After hitting the spinning wheel to open the gate, you’ll need to climb around the platform ahead to find the chest at the top on your way to the mining rig furnace. You’ll need to kill a few Wild Wretches along the way, but it’s nothing you can’t handle. This Legendary Chest contains the Muspelheim Seed Half, which is half of an Yggdrasil Seed to Muspelheim, which begins The Crucible favor. You’ll find the second half of the seed at Alberich Hollow.

Where to Find the Lore Marker at Modvitnir’s Rig¶
The Lore Marker here is slightly more hidden. From the Legendary Chest, you’ll need to use the Blades of Chaos to grapple onto the crane hook and reach the platform to the south, then immediately turn right (west) and look down. You’ll see the Lore Marker for “Warning” below here, and you’ll need to jump down to access it.
How to Kill the Loot Lizard at Modvitnir’s Rig¶
Although not technically a collectible, you’ll also find a Loot Lizard next to the Lore Marker here. These are difficult to kill unless you can get them from behind, and there’s usually a tricky spot that you’ll need to find before you can hit them with a ranged attack from your Leviathan Axe. In this case, you’ll need to grapple back to the platform to the north, then turn around to aim at the lizard, as shown in the screenshot below.

Where to Find the Mining Rig at Modvitnir’s Rig¶
The Mining Rig here can be found by climbing up the chain to the south of where you dropped down to find the lore. You can then turn left to find the mining rig furnace which you’ll need to shut down before it counts as a completed collectible. Where to Find the Buried Treasure at Modvitnir’s Rig¶
The Buried Treasure is located on the beach at Modvitnir’s Rig, just where you dock the boat. However, you won’t be able to access this until you’ve thoroughly explored Alberich Hollow, which requires the use of the Draupnir Spear (unlocked during the main mission “Forging Destiny”). The Fruits of Industry Treasure Map is located at the end of Alberich Hollow, as shown in the screenshot below. Once you obtain the map you will be able to loot the treasure on the beach at Modvitnir’s Rig.
