The Shove Off is one of the combat-related trophies that you can unlock in Baldur’s Gate 3. To obtain it, you need to kill a creature with falling damage which can be achieved by making use of the Shove Class Action.
How to Use The Shove Ability in BG3¶
In order to shove an enemy you’ll want to bring your character relatively close to the opponent, then you’ll want to select the Shove Ability which is the orange hand icon. However, doing so you’ll use up one of your Bonus Actions, so you’ll want to create a quick-save before using it so you can reload and try again if you miss.
How to Kill An Enemy With Fall Damage in BG3¶
Now in order to get your hands on the Shove Off Trophy you’ll need to kill an enemy with fall damage, and the easiest way to do this is to push an enemy off a cliff, as depending on the height it should kill them instantly. If the drop isn’t that high, then you may want to use some basic attacks to deplete around half of their health.
The easiest way to unlock this trophy is during the Rescue the Gnome Quest which takes place to the northwest of the Blighted Village that’s located in the Wilderness Region that you’ll explore in Act 1. When you approach the windmill you’ll be ambushed by some enemies and some will be positioned on high up areas, so you’ll want to use one of your stronger characters, such as Lae’zel, and work your way up to the enemies, then weaken them with a couple hits from her sword before using shove to launch them off the cliff to unlock the achievement.
