This page offers a guide on where to find and how to recruit Wyll the Warlock (Fiend) in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Where to Find Wyll in Baldur’s Gate 3¶
Wyll is one of the many companions that you can recruit for your party! He is easy to find and can be recruited really early on. You’ll first meet Wyll when you help him and his pals against some Goblins outside the gate to Emerald Grove.
Recruiting Wyll as a Companion¶
After helping him against the Goblins, head into Emerald Grove and proceed over to The Hollow where you’ll find Wyll at the training grounds where he’s teaching swordsman skills to some Tiefling children.
When you speak to him, he will be very open to joining your party as long as you are cordial. He will also mention his quest to kill a woman named Karlach (also a potential companion!), and if you don’t want to agree to do that, you can always suggest teaming up without agreeing to help him kill the Tiefling companion.
Wyll is a pretty good party member if your party is lacking in spellcasters. As a !Warlock (Fiend), Wyll knows loads of cantrips and is a charismatic player. So, if you’ve not got much charisma in your party, Wyll could also be a good option!
If your team is full, it’s still worth speaking to Wyll anyway as you can either switch out a party member or just send Wyll to camp. If he’s at camp, you can change your mind whenever you like and help him in his personal quest if you’d like. And, if you’re interested in romancing Wyll, you’ll also need to bring him into your party so you can increase his approval of you. Head over to our guide on romance for more information on approval rating, polyamory and more!
