There are 5 Merlin Trials for you to solve in Cragcroftshire. Completing these will increase your inventory capacity which is a necessity whilst exploring the Wizarding World, as you’ll be constantly picking new gear. Below you’ll find the necessary steps to find and complete all 5 Merlin Trials.

The first Cragcroftshire Merlin Trial can be found northwest of the Cragcroft Floo Flame. Use Mallowsweet to begin the trial, then you’ll need to cast Confringo on three torches. You’ll find the first opposite the platform, then the other can be found whilst walking along the path to the south.

Head to this location on the map (left), and use Lumos to bring Butterflies to the Pillars. (right)

The second Cragcroftshire Merlin Trial can be found northwest of the Cragcroft Floo Flame. Use Mallowsweet to begin the trial, then you’ll see three pillars with diamond shaped holes carved into them. Here you’ll need to stand near the nearby Butterflies and cast Lumos to cause them to follow you, then navigate them to the pillars which are scattered around the platform.. Once all the pillars are lit, then the trial will be completed.

The third Cragcroftshire Merlin Trial can be found on a separate island to the southeast of the Cragcroft Floo Flame. Use Mallowsweet to begin the trial, then you’ll simply want to jump across the stones to the northwest without falling to complete this trial.

The fourth Cragcroftshire Merlin Trial can be found southwest of the Cragcroft Floo Flame. Use Mallowsweet to begin the trial, then you’ll need to destroy 9 stones with Confringo which are located in the following areas:

• Three to the west of the Mallowsweet Platform
• Three to the southeast of the Mallowsweet Platform
• Three to the northeast of the Mallowsweet Platform

The fifth Cragcroftshire Merlin Trial can be found southeast of the Cragcroft Shore Floo Flame. Use Mallowsweet to begin the trial, then you’ll need to destroy 5 stone pillars by shooting at them with the Confringo Spell which are located in the following areas:

• One Northeast of the Mallowsweet Platform (Out In The Open)
• Two Northeast of the Mallowsweet Platform (Sitting on top of the Broken Building)
• One South of the Mallowsweet Platform (Broken Wall)
• One Southeast of the Mallowsweet Platform (Through the Hole in the wall)
