If you’re into your fashion, there are a whole host of different clothing options to choose from in Hogwarts Legacy, allowing you to change your appearance on a frequent basis. But, what about altering your actual face and its features once chosen at the start of the game?
This guide answers that question, hopefully putting your mind at ease as to whether or not you need to spend hours in the character creation process and then ultimately regret it.
Can You Change Appearance In Hogwarts Legacy?¶
While you may have spent a bunch of time in the character creation menu when first starting the game, there might be a point that you reach when you stop and think you want to switch it up. Therefore, you’ll likely want to change your physical appearance in Hogwarts Legacy to keep things fresh.
However, unfortunately, once you lock in what your Hogwarts student looks like, you’ll sadly not be able to change your core face style. By this, we mean your actual features such as your nose, lips, ears etc. that come with the initial choice.
While it’s a little disappointing that you can’t simply use magic to change up your core look, what you are able to change is pretty much everything else. Your eyebrows, hairstyle, any scars/freckles, complexion and the colours to go with this list can be altered time and time again.
If you do want to change your appearance, this can be done once you reach Hogsmeade, unlocking a bunch of different shops that you can enter. The one you’ll be looking for is Madame Snelling’s Tess Emporium; this will allow you to change the aforementioned character features.
Be warned though, each feature that you change will cost gold so make sure you’re on the look out for the best ways to get some, especially if you’re still indecisive about your in-game appearance.
