Potion-making and Herbology are important parts of Hogwarts Legacy. Players will be growing plants and brewing potions to assist them with their talent builds, consumable battle items, such as Mandrakes, Chinese Chomping Cabbage, and more. However, to make some of these, you’re going to need plants that grow in medium-sized pots. So, to get started on botany, here is everything you need to know about Medium Pots in Hogwarts Lewgacy.
How to get Medium Pots in Hogwarts Legacy¶
You must buy one of three summoning spells to get Medium Pots in Hogwarts Legacy. To do so, head over to Hogsmaede, and go pay the Tomes and Scrolls store a visit. You can find the shop to the southwest corner of the village near the road you enter along the road to Hogwarts. Once there, head inside, and speak to the Shopkeeper.
Now, you have several options to grab. Below is a table of the spellcraft you can get, the pots they have, and the cost of the recipe.
Spellcraft | Medium Pots | Cost |
---|---|---|
Potting Table with a Medium Pot | One Medium Pot | 750 |
Potting Table with Two Medium Pots | Two Medium Pots | 1500 |
Potting Table with Three Medium Pots. | Three Medium Pots | 3000 |
It’s always generally better to buy the potting table with the most pots, thanks to the number of Botany table restrictions within the Room of Requirement. But, if you can’t afford it, go for something else.
Once you decide which spellcraft to buy, go ahead and get it. After that, players can return to the Room of Requirement and place the table down using the Conjuring spell. Place that on your spell bar, use it, then go to the Herbology section and check the medium potting table section. You can then check the resources you need to summon a Medium Potting Table. Don’t worry too much about the cost of the Moonstones, as the tables either cost 18, 15, 30, depending on the number of pots it has. You can acquire Moonstones easily out in the world, marked by those blue crystals you can see in teh open world, or clear debris or unwanted Room items with your other conjuration spell.
Now you have placed your Medium Pot in Hogwarts Legacy. You may interact with the potting table, and place any small and medium plants on the table. Remember, you must have the seeds available to pot the plant you want to grow.
And there you have it, you now know how to get and use medium pots in Hogwarts Legacy. Good luck growing your magical garden, and using those plants to create wonderful potions and fight dastardly goblins and poachers.
