The Polyjuice Plot is one of the most interesting quests in Hogwarts Legacy. You, and Professor Fig have devised a plan, which will allow you to access the Fitzgerald Trial. However, it requires using Polyjuice, which will transform you into Headmaster Black. While on the quest, you will encounter many fellow professors, students and other fooleries along the way. Here is a walkthrough for the Polyjuice Plot quest in Hogwarts Legacy, detailing niche lore, dialogue interactions, and more throughout the occasion.
Polyjuice Plot Walkthrough in Hogwarts Legacy¶
Once you’ve transformed into Black, head out of Fig’s classroom. As soon as you leave, you get a fun interaction with Sharp, with him asking about your Boils and his remedy. Feel free to mess around and have fun with it, and then move as you were.
Skipping ahead, you will come across Madame Kagawa on your way to the great hall. She will catch you about the Quidditch cancellation again. Of course, you can’t gaslight The game into turning Quidditch on, because it doesn’t exist, but, you can have fun trolling Kagawa and getting Black into trouble with the ministry of sport. Either way, your goal is to find out where your elf is, and fast. No matter what you say, you will get to know the elf’s whereabouts.
Continue walking into the Great Hall, and Professor Weasley will also try to grab your attention. She is concerned about Fig, and the adventures of you, the fifth year, outside of the castle grounds. The choices you make in this dialogue are largely you covering your and Fig’s back, so feel free to mess around with the dialogue and find ways to get Weasley away from you.
Polyjuice Plot: Scrope’s Answers¶
Now that’s over, it’s time to get to the elf, and learn of the secret password to Black’s office. There are a few dialogue options here, so we advise selecting the following options.
- You dare question me
- It’s to do with the Purity of Blood
These answers will get you what you need. The elf will also reveal it is in french, then pronounce it for you. With that done, it is time to venture up the Great staircase, into the Trophy room and towards the gargoyle. Simply follow the quest pathway, hide and let the Polyjuice wear off, and then go to the gargoyle door. Once you’re up there, interact with Black’s office, and then you can get to the Fitzgerald portrait and move on to the Fitzgerald Trial.
