When you’re taking on the main story mission, Flight Class, you will get a tutorial on how to fly. Once you’ve figured out how to fly in Hogwarts Legacy, then you get a choice from Everett Clopton. We are here to answer whether that is the best choice for the Flight Class mission.
Hogwarts Legacy Flight Class Walkthrough¶
The Flight Class mission tutorial is largely getting you into the flow of the game. You will aim to go through the hoops, learning how to control and guide your broom. This will teach you the basics of the controls. There is also an advanced tutorial, which you will do while flying around Hogwarts castle. Simply follow the on-screen instructions to learn to fly. If you’re a PC player, know the controls are a little awkward, so, consider rebinding the descent key, as it is next to the Accelerate key, which can make flying slightly uncomfortable if you want to accelerate and descend at he same time.

Everett Clopton Dialogue Choices¶
Once you’ve finished the tutorial of how to fly in Hogwarts Legacy, you will then get a character introduction. Here you meet Everett Clopton for the first time, one of the nerdy Ravenclaw students. However, this Ravenclaw resident offers you some extracurricular joy riding. You have two choices:
- I like the sound of that?
- Won’t we get in trouble?
The only difference between the two is the dialogue you get. You must follow him around, as you get to the second part of the tutorial. Here, you learn more about the acceleration and the speed boost you can do on Brooms. So, pick whichever naughty or good boy student dialogue option you want.
Though, there is some dialogue changes later on in the main story. When you begin doing the side quests for the broom maker in Hogsmeade, you will do time-trial missions for Imelda Reyes, the Slytherin student the runs the time-trial broom races. She will mention your little detour in the conversation, which you can then admit or deny later on if that’s what happened. Both of which either tease your broom skills to her or that you’re actually a goody two shoes.
It’s not so much a permanent choice, but, there is some consistent role play and dialogue for your character to follow on later on in the broom storyline and gameplay content. So, pick whichever option you want.
