There’s a total of 4 Treasure Vaults to be found in the North Ford Bog region of Hogwarts Legacy, some of which are near the border with the Forbidden Forest. To open all of them, you’ll need to have Level II of the Alohomora spell unlocked, an explosive spell such as Confringo, and the Wingardium Leviosa spell.
Treasure Vault Locations - North Ford Bog¶
Treasure Vault #1 - Southwest of the Pitt-Upon-Ford Floo Flame¶
The first Treasure Vault in North Ford Bog that we’ll cover is located southeast of the Pitt-Upon-Ford Floo Flame, near the border to the Forbidden Forest, as shown in the screenshot below. There is no puzzle associated with this Treasure Vault, all you need to do is enter the cave and reach the end to find the chest.
Treasure Vault #2 - Southeast of the Pitt-Upon-Ford Floo Flame¶
This Treasure Vault is located just southeast of the Pitt-Upon-Ford Floo Flame. The entrance to the cave where the treasure chest can be found is blocked by some rubble, so you’ll need to use an explosive spell such as Confringo to destroy it. You can then walk in and find the chest at the end of the cave. There’s no puzzle associated with this one.
Treasure Vault #3 - Southwest of San Bakar’s Tower¶
This Treasure Vault is located just southwest of the San Bakar’s Tower, in the central part of North Ford Bog. You’ll need to defeat some undead enemies outside, so make sure that you have some fire-based spells to break their defenses and make them vulnerable to regular attacks. You’ll then need to use an explosive spell such as Confringo to blast through the wooden barricade at the entrance. Once inside, go to the end of the cave to find a rock at the center of the room. You need to use the Wingardium Leviosa spell to levitate this rock and place it in the center of the other rocks on the back wall, with the arrow facing down. Once you’ve done this the rock barrier to its right will be lowered and you can access the chest.
Treasure Vault #4 - East of San Bakar’s Tower¶
This one can be found almost directly east of San Bakar’s Tower. There are even more undead enemies outside this entrance and they’re slightly higher level than the others, but it shouldn’t be too difficult. The main thing you’ll need to make sure that you have here is Level II unlocked for the Alohomora spell. If you still need to find some Demiguise Statues for this, be sure to check our pages for them below:
Once you’ve unlocked the gate, you can go to the end of the cave to find the chest there.
