Getting all of the trophies or achievements in Metaphor: ReFantazio can be a long and grindy endeavor. There are a few miscellaneous ones that require you to do specific things, like defeating Elmentas. These somewhat rarer enemies can be found throughout the game, and you’ll have to defeat a total of ten of them to unlock the trophy/achievement.

Elmentas are rarer enemies that give great rewards, if you manage to defeat them.

Elmentas Locations

As mentioned above, you will run into Elmentas throughout the game, as there is typically one of them in each of the dungeons. They are small, floating orbs of energy that will run away from you at their first sight of you. You will need to stun them with overworld attacks, then do a Squad Battle. If you don’t stun them quickly enough, the Elmentas will run away. Once you’re in a battle with them, you will need to do the same thing and beat them as soon as possible, as they are prone to running away very quickly.

So, what’s the benefit to chasing after the Elmentas and beating them? Well, they give quite a bit of MAG and money upon their defeat, so they are always good to go after when you find one. In fact, they seem to always respawn in the same place when you find them in dungeons. For example, in Belega Corridor, there will always be one in the big corridor not too far from the save point and boss room. Of course, this is in a room with a bunch of Goborns, so it’s tough to get it without being swarmed by them.

(1 of 4) Elmentas will run away from you in the field, so you’ll have to run after them.

Of course, there are plenty of other places to find them. If you can find one close to a save point, then defeat the Elmenta and visit Akademia via the save point. Upon exiting it, all of the enemies will respawn, including the Elmenta. This isn’t totally needed, as you will run into more than ten of them as you progress the main story, as well as do all of the side quests/optional dungeons.

Thanks for the video! Would you say this is a hard trophy to obtain?
