After reaching the bottom of the Dragon Temple, you will find yourself in an unfamiliar location, the Drakongrace Shinjuku. It is there that you finally come face-to-face with the Dragon God, Eht. It seemed to be controlled by a Human and after defeating them both in combat, it escapes and rushes over to the Mustari village. You chase after it and confront Homo Margo to defeat it for good.

Homo Margo Boss Strategy¶
Once again, you are forced to use Eupha here, but her normal attack is considered Almighty damage in this bout, so she becomes extremely useful. Unlike your previous encounter with Margo, when he was on the back of the dragon, this version is a little more challenging. He removes the constant wind weakness and will replace it with a revolving set of vulnerabilities. Every two turns, Margo will use Reversal Prayer to basically change his elemental affinities. Of course, this will change which kind of attack you should be using on him, as all other damage types will be blocked. Thankfully, there will be an aura behind him, which indicates the type of magic he will use, and the kind you should be using.
Note that buffing your party will result in Margo using Dekunda, while debuffing him will have him use Dekaja. When the battle first starts, he will be susceptible to all damage types, so use your first round to inflict as much damage as possible. The first time he does use Reversal Prayer, it will change into an ice form, which means he is susceptible to fire damage. After another full turn, it will then use the prayer again, moving onto the next form. This will continue on throughout the fight, until he hits the final Almighty form. In this one, he blocks all elements, but will be susceptible to physical attacks.
- Ice: Use fire
- Fire: Use ice
- Wind: Use lightning
- Lightning: Use wind
- Almighty: Use physical
Naturally, you can use Almighty attacks on Margo throughout all of the phases, so having access to something like Gold Attack will work wonders. During each of the forms, Margo will use the heavy version of the corresponding element, but he can also use any of the other attacks listed above. The most annoying of the other three attacks it can use is Distracting Hand, as it can inflict Anxiety on someone. Toxic Stalker and the two Hands attacks all deal Almighty damage, so you won’t be able to block them.
At some point, once the boss gets under half health, Gallica will chime in and asks to distract the boss for you. All this does is delay the Reversal Prayer, so the boss will get stuck on a specific form for a few extra turns. This can be great if you have a surplus of damage for that form, meaning you can whittle down his health much more quickly. Outside of the whole Prayer thing, there isn’t much else to say about Homo Margo.
Once you defeat Margo, you will have to watch a bunch of cutscenes, but Eupha will permanently join your party. Depending on when you’ve done all of the story dungeons and bosses here, you might have a lot of free time left to work on optional content.
