Description |
|
They are elite fighting angels. They mainly heal wounded allies, and protect Celestia. An angel soldier’s rank is determined by their spiritual power level, which is proportional to the size and number of wings they have. They are really single-minded, and don’t adapt well. |
The Celestial Hostess is one of the three DLC classes in the Playstation 4 version of the game, meaning you will have to purchase her. Once you do, head to the DLC NPC to unlock her. The Celestial Hostess is a bit of a mediocre class, especially when you compare her to the Celestial Host. However, the Hostess does have some nice well-rounded stat aptitudes, with her INT and RES being the best among the bunch. She is proficient with a Sword, Bow and Staff, but it might be best to stick with staves, since they do learn the healing spells. So, you have the option to either try out one of the other weapons, or just stick to staves and teach them some offensive spells.

Evilities¶
The Celestial Hostess’ unique Evility, Angel Protection, will decrease the damage taken by allies within three panels by 5%. This isn’t a bad Evility, since a straight damage reduction is always nice, but you will need to huddle your characters around the Hostess, which makes you vulnerable to AoE attacks. Angel Conciliation will make the Revenge Gauge of enemies fill more slowly, which should always be on a support unit of some kind, once you gain access to this. Angel Blessing makes it so adjacent allies recover 10% SP at the end of the turn. This Evility is a bit of a mixed bag, as there might be some instances where it can be useful, such as in the earlier portions of the game, but for the most part, it doesn’t seem very useful at all.
Angel Immunity will make all stat drops from magic nullified, but only those who have this Evility equipped. While this might sound nice on paper, there are other skills out there that will also do stat drops, and this doesn’t protect them from that. Angel Cheering makes units in the same squad as the character equipped with this recover 3% SP every turn. This is better than Angel Blessing, as the position of your units don’t matter, plus you can simply throw this on some random units to get some SP regen. Angel Flight grants all allies on the map the flying movement type. Flying means they can pass through other enemies whenever they want, which is a huge deal. Toss this on a random unit, then dispatch them into a random corner or something.
