Battle

In order to unlock Sapphire as a playable unit, you need to finish all maps for the DLC episode titled Lover’s Quarrel. Sapphire is sort of an odd character, as her aptitudes and weapon masteries points to her being another gun user. However, her high ATK aptitude almost means that she could possibly be a bow user, too. Despite this, she learns up to Tera Heal and Espoir, which could make her a healer that participates in combat, although her RES stat/aptitude isn’t all too great. Her unique Evility isn’t all too nice, either, since it requires under 50% HP. So, you have a few ways in which to go with Sapphire, as you can go healer/bow, gun, bow, or even axe.

Evilities

Sapphire’s unique Evility is called Robust and it boosts her ATK and DEF by 50% whenever she is below 50% HP. The boost is nice, but there aren’t too many opportunities where you will have less than 50% HP, especially in the endgame portions of the game. Precise Healing makes it so you won’t hit enemies with your healing spells, unless they are on Reverse Damage Geo Panels. Considering you can do single target heals with the normal healing spells, this shouldn’t really be needed. The unique healing spells aren’t bad and will generally target more than one character, so it might come in handy there.

Bring It On! will increase the Item World invasion rate whenever the person with this equipped is put as the leader of the Item Adventure Squad. You will want this whenever you’re fixing to “max” out equipment for your characters, as the pirates will help with the training bonus. Since this can be put on anyone, you can just put it on a random character you create and put as the leader of the squad. The final common Evility is called Pulverizing Spirit and it deals damage to enemies within 2 panels of the unit at the end of their turn. This can be a nice addition to someone like a tanking character, but there are better Evilities to add to those characters.

Evility Slots Effect Req
Robust Unique When HP is under 50%, increases ATK and DEF by 50% Default
Precise Healing 1 When using healing magic, enemy units will not be included, unless it’s reverse damage 500 Mana
Bring It On! 4 When leader of the Item Adventure Squad, increases the Item World invasion rate 5000 Mana
Pulverizing Spirit 4 Deal damage to enemies within 2 panels at end of turn 30000 Mana
