Description |
|
Since those with the potential to become female warriors are rare, the qualified few are adopted by a master and spend their lives training under them. Their masters are usually retired female warriors. The students are called the Liebe. They are taught to survive. |
You will have the Valkyrie available to you from the beginning of the game. The Valkyrie draws some similarities to the Warrior class, in that it is the basic female fighter, but it has some differences that sets it apart. They do have similar stat proficiencies, like HP, ATK, DEF and HIT, although they are a tiny bit better with their SPD when compared to the Warrior. They are also good with a Sword and Spear, but while the Warrior could use Axes, the Valkyrie swaps those out with the Bow. Unfortunately, there are classes that are better with the Bow and their skills are a bit location dependent.
Swords are always a good fit for a character proficient with them, but if you want to be a little different, Spears are also a good choice. In fact, Spears are a good complement to the Valkyrie’s unique Evility, Assault Attack, which increases the damage dealt by the number of panels moved during their turn (x10%). With this Evility, you should focus on improving the Valkyrie’s movement, whether via Shoes or with other Evilities. Other than improving movement, Spear skills operate on the ATK stat, so that should be your primary focus whenever building up a Valkyrie that uses spears.

Evilities¶
The Valkyrie’s unique Evility is called Assault Attack, allowing her to increase the damage dealt by the number of panels moved prior to the attack. With this, you should complement this Evility with others that would utilize the whole movement thing. Hit and Away is a good choice, since it allows you to move out of the fray once you defeat an enemy (provided you moved). Shield Dash is an Evility that decreases the damage you receive by the panels you move (1% each panel, with a max of 30%). Once you can add other unique Evilities to a character, Rapid Movement increases your evasion bonus by the number of panels you move (x3%).
