Description |
|
These low-class demons have the rare ability to fly. They are often hired to deliver parcels. They are very hard working and willing to go to the most dangerous Netherworlds. However, they are very cowardly and always scatter poisonous dust around. |
The Winged Warrior class is unlockable once you reach Episode 4, when a quest called No Ordinary Bug! appears in the Quest Shop. To complete it, you simply need to kill a single Archer enemy. The Winged Warrior class can be quite the important monster for you, since it becomes one of the better units to use in the Item World. That because it has a high base Move and it is a flying unit, meaning it can go through enemies without being blocked by them. They also have a lot of ailments at their disposal, so you could build them up to take advantage of those, especially considering their unique Evility does give them a better chance of inflicting those. One of the biggest problems with the Winged Warrior, though, is that they have low HP and DEF, with them sporting a really low DEF aptitude. They do have high RES and SPD, though, meaning you could adapt them to some other roles.

Evilities¶
The Winged Warrior’s unique Evility, Spreading Miasma, increases the chance to inflict ailments and stat drops to enemies by 30%. Considering most of their special skills can inflict ailments, this is a good thing and is one of their strong points. It might be a good idea to teach them all of the ailment and stat drop skills you can, to take advantage of this even more. Paralysis Dust gives the unit with this a 50% chance to inflict Paralysis when attacking normally. If the enemy isn’t immune to this, Paralysis is a pretty good ailment, since it prevents movement and evasion. Lance Guard increases spear resistance by 20% and while this is always nice, it’s situational and you can easily boost the weapon resistances by the same amount with an Innocent.
Poison Accelerator increases the poison damage dealt to enemies by 25%. Poison is a great ailment in the game, since units will lose 20% of their max HP each turn while it is active. This adds to that, so that means poison will deal even more damage. If going for an ailment build, then you definitely want this on that unit. Lengthen Ailment makes ailments last 2 turns longer on enemies. Typically, they last for three turns, so with this Evility, they will last for five turns. Again, this is great if you’re doing an ailment build. Overdose makes a unit deal 60% more damage to an enemy if they have an ailment that was inflicted with an ailment skill. So, a basic skill like Poison would allow a unit deal 60% more damage, which is nice and all, but sometimes those skills aren’t the best.
