Battle¶
In order to unlock Almaz as a playable unit, you need to finish all maps for the DLC episode titled Lover’s Quarrel. Almaz is a swordsman, so he should be fitted with one, although he is also adept with spears and guns. The only problem with guns is that his SPD aptitude isn’t as high as the other attacking ones. One of the better things about Almaz is that his third unique special is a 3x3 attack, which is probably going to be useful for a while, as some of the 3x3 weapon specials take a while to learn. Outside of that, though, Almaz isn’t the best of characters, as his unique Evility is kind of situational.

Evilities¶
Almaz’s unique Evility is called Hero’s Proof, which gives him increased attack by 40% and decreased damage by 30%. The only problem is that this is only against Overlords, so it’s a bit situational and not really that good in normal play, like if you were going through the Item World, as an example. Guard the Princess! increases Almaz’s attack by 30% whenever Sapphire is on the map. If you don’t use her at all, then this Evility is worthless (like so many of the similar ones).
I Won’t Lose! will increase the damage by 40%, but only when the character with this Evility is under 50% HP. Again, this doesn’t usually happen often, unless you’re playing the main story, as most instances in the late game is killed or be killed in one attack. The final common Evility is the best one, as Lucky! increases the RARE of an item when destroying a chest by 30. Doing this wil allow you to more easily obtain Legendary equipment from chests while going through the Item World, which in turn, will allow you to get the higher ranks.
