Killia is the main protagonist of Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance. A mysterious demon who just shows up out of nowhere and claims he’s going to defeat Void Dark, although it is not known why Killia hates and wants revenge against him. He prefers to be a lone wolf and has an incredible appetite, even stopping to eat a large meal right before a battle. |

Battle¶
Killia has high Attack and Speed stats, making him great to be on the frontlines. He also has high Weapon Mastery in both Fists and Swords, so those are going to be his main weapons, although he probably favors Fists a bit more. This is coupled with the fact that his unique skills use ATK and SPD as damage multipliers, so he definitely should be using Fists. All of Killia’s unique skills only hit a single enemy, with the exception of Hellfire Shot that hits up to five enemies. Note that Killia will only get two unique skills as he levels up, with the other two being story-related.
Skills¶
As already mentioned, Killia will only unlock two skills as he levels up. These are Exploding Tiger and Hellfire Shot, the latter of which can be a staple part of your offense. The other two main skills for Killia, Avidya Holy Water and Macrocosm are learned during the main story. Once you learn that final skill, it will probably be your go-to one in fighting one-on-one, as it is quite powerful. Outside of the above, he can also use three Combo Skills, with Seraphina, Red Magnus, and Usalia.

Overload¶
While Killia doesn’t normally have an Overload ability, he will eventually learn one as part of the main story. His Overload is called Tyrant Revelio, allowing him to act up to three times during a single turn. This is definitely an extremely powerful Overload, especially when coupled with his second unique Evility, which raises his ATK by 100% when in Revenge Mode. With three attacks, you could also gain a bit of damage from his first Evility, too, which adds 2% for every attack he performs.
Evilities¶
Killia’s unique Evility is called War Demon and it increases his attack by 2% for every attack he performs. This means he should always be attacking enemies, especially when you take into account the second unique Evility he learns later on, called Destructive Demon. The second Evility increases his attack by 100% whenever Killia enters Revenge Mode.

Trivia¶
- Killia has what appears like scales on his chest, seemingly indicating that he isn’t really wearing a jacket, but that it’s part of his body.
- The reason you see Killia eating often during the course of the game is because he burns calories very quickly. He also appreciates the rarer ingredients for his meals, even going to far end places to get those items.
