A character from Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. She is a vassal of Overlord Laharl, but due to her devilish personality, she has come into conflict with him many times. She once ran away because Laharl ate her favorite pudding. She bosses the Prinnies around, and has a complex about her flat chest. |

Battle¶
In order to unlock Etna, you need to download the Disgaea D2 DLC and complete all three maps for The Legend Begins. Etna is probably the worst out of the original Disgaea group, as she’s not really fit for a specific build nor really shining through with anything. She is good with Spears, Guns and Axes, and her best stat is DEF, so Spears may be the best option for her (they boost DEF). The greatest thing about Etna is that her unique Evility, Sadistic, is great whenever you come across enemies with full HP, as you will be wanting to defeat enemies with one shot, and Etna will have a 50% damage boost thanks to that.

Overload¶
Etna’s Overload is called Chaotic Ordina, which summons a lot of Prinnies onto the field. The plus side of this is that the Prinnies will have the same equipment (minus the human weapon, since they are monsters) and level as Etna, so this can be a huge plus if your Etna is super powerful with a lot of nice equipment. This can also make for some nice fodder, too, if your back is against the wall during a tough battle, especially if you get Etna to use during the main story. The only downside (which might also be an upside, due to the number of them) is that the Prinnies are controlled by the AI.
Evilities¶
Etna’s unique Evility is called Sadistic and it’s actually pretty nice, as it gives you an extra 50% damage whenever the enemy has full health. Naturally, you will want to be taking out enemies in a single hit, so that will make this a great Evility in the long run. Lethal Throw is not really a good Evility, unless you actually throw Prinnies during battles, which is not really a viable thing to do. Busty Killer is an Evility that is pretty situational, as you never really know (well, you can know) when you’re coming across a busty enemy unit. Her last common Evility is Taunt, which seems to increase the Revenge Gauge gain of enemies by 5%. This isn’t really a good Evility, so there’s no reason to equip it at all.

Trivia¶
- Etna gets mad whenever someone calls her flat-chested, which usually involves her taking it out on a poor nearby Prinny.
- She seems to be named after the volcano in Italy, Mt. Etna.
