Battle¶
In order to unlock Fenrich as a playable unit, you need to finish all of the maps found under The Prinny Coach. It’s pretty apparent that Fenrich is meant to be a Fist user, as he has S weapon mastery in that, as well as higher ATK and SPD aptitudes. However, despite this, there are much better fist users out there, especially with the DLC. His unique Evility basically makes him depend on having Valvatorez around, and his common Evilities aren’t really all that good, not to mention the one is just odd.

Evilities¶
Fenrich’s unique Evility is called Tyrant’s Slave, which gives him a 50% bonus to his stats whenever he is right next to Valvatorez. For every panel he moves away from Valv, he loses 10%. Considering it is solely dependent on having Valvatorez in your party, that makes this not a super great Evility. Moon Promise will increase Fenrich’s stats by 10% when the “weather is normal,” which is a bit abnormal, considering there isn’t a pronounced weather mechanic in the game. It basically means that a Netherworld effect of Sandstorm, Fire Powder, Snow, or Gale Force Winds will not make this Evility work.
Intimidating Gaze will decrease the defense of an adjacent enemy by 10%, but only those in front of Fenrich. Considering there are a lot of Evilities that work on any adjacent enemy, this is a bit lackluster. The final common Evility for Fenrich is named Symbol of Loyalty, where the unit with it equipped will basically take the place of Valvatorez whenever he takes damage. Like with his unique one, this basically forces you to use Valvatorez, so if you don’t use him, then it’s utterly useless.
